Hi..
You guys are incredible...thanks for your continued support :)

Here is a brief summary of what I want to do after my MBA:
Short –Term Goal: Management Consulting Position in a Top Strategic consulting firm (for three to four years after my MBA in a good B-School)
Mid –Term Goal: And then, shifting to General Management position in a Top IT firm and serving it at several leadership levels (for eight to ten years)
Long Term Goal: Building my own global high-touch IT consultancy business... (Within next 10 to 12 years)

I am sure these goals are quite common for most MBA apirants. And , now here are my qualifications:

My current role is 'Consultant' in a well reputed MNC.
Five years IT experience in various roles - developer, business analyst, technological lead, consultant
Outstanding Academics in one of the Top 10 Engineering colleges in India
Diverse International Work Experience in US for around 2 years.
Good community service.
GMAT Score - 660 (Q 49 - 90%, V 33 - 70%) - almost gave up on retaking the test due to lack of time, but will re-consider if really required.

I am looking for schools good at Consultancy : placements wise and curriculum wise. I have good personal and professional leadership experiences that I can effectively showcase in my essays and also confident of good recos from my superiors .

Here is my list of first round schools:

CMU -Tepper; ISB; UNC; USC-Marshall

Second round: Emory, Case-Western

Being an international student from tech background, How competent is my profile for CMU?
I am excited at their Management science approach... Any insights??

What are my chances for other mentioned B-schools..and am I missing any good schools for my profile?

And how is Case Western program...is it a good fit for me....

Lot of questions...and thanks for your patience !!!

Thanks !!

Satish,

The top strat consulting firms don't typically recruit at these schools, but they may still hire occasionally from them. You will just have to work harder to get your foot in the door.

You have a chance at all these schools, but the GMAT verbal could hurt you , particularly CMU and USC. You are coming from a very competitive cohort. If you want to increase your chances of admission, take it again.

Good luck!
