I am an IT engineer. I have 2 years of work experience. I am also doing MBA. i have keen interest in analytics/statistics domain. I am planning to apply for some courses like MS in Analytics or MS in statistics. Below is my profile
could you please suggest me whether it is advisable for me to apply for such courses or not.

X - 76%
XII - 71%
Engineer B.Tech (IT) - 68%
2 years of work in IT company
MBA 87% (i will complete my MBA in 2014)
Gmat - i will give next month

please suggest me whether apply these kind of courses after mba is good to one's career or not. and also please suggest me some good colleges where i can get admission for these courses according to my profile.

You can get into analytics/statistics with your MBA. Don’t rush for another degree. It is a long and expensive commitment. If I were you, I would wait until 2014 and see how it goes. I wouldn’t go for another degree just to get into analytics/statistics domain.

If the above doesn’t sound good to you, work for 2-3 years post MBA, and then go for higher studies.
