Hi there Been studying since May 2010, writing 2 Sep 2010 - only able to study 1-2 hrs a night if that and weekends, which are pretty busy as well-trying my damndest! taking 2 weeks off work before my exam to study my ass off I am by no means happy with any of my prep scores - they are pathetic despite my working as hard as I can-have had to reteach myself math:o( but one can only work hard and try the best that they can - which I am
ANYHOW - I digress -being that I am going nuts and I have been following this forum for months (I find it helpful so thanks) I am postiing my 1st q (and it is my no means profound) for the life of me I do not know how to work this calculation out 406 divided by 1.16 What is the quickest and most simple way please (obviously withoout a calculator) - im going nuts (I am sure the calculation simple but I dont see it)

\(\frac{406}{1.16}\)
=\(\frac{406*100}{116}\)
=\(\frac{203*100}{58}\) divide by 2
=\(\frac{7*100}{2}\) divide by 29
\(= 350\)
