how to improve Quant? [#permalink]

What is a good way to improve Quant? I tried to do some of the math questions posted on this site, but it seems confusing to me. Are there other ways to improve so that I can do better on the test? From my last GMAT score, I have a 27 in Quant. I would like to raise it up to at least 35+. I plan on using the OG guide 10th edition and the Kaplan Math workbook. Are these materials enough to score higher in Quant?
Review math basics thoroughly. Then work on the OG or any other prep book(s). Do review questions that you've got wrong as well as right.
Mark the ones that you were unable to solve. Re-visit the probs after a few days and try solving them again (also try different variations of the problems that normally give you grief)....
Hope this helps... GMAT prep according to me is like building a foundation and then cementing it - again and again....
