The cost to charter a certain airplane is x dollars. If the 25 members of a club chartered the plane and shared the cost equally, what was the cost per member?

here we have to calculate the value of x
st.1
\(\frac{x}{25} - \frac{x}{30}\) \(=40\)
\(x\frac{(6-5)}{150}=40\)
\(x=6000\)
hence sufficient
st.2 since we don't know the cost of regular scheduled flight. hence st.2 alone is insufficient to answer the question.
