Hello,
I have a score of 720 in GMAT (Q49, V39) I have around 8 years of experience in IT (haing worked with HP/IBM). I have a very ordinary extra curriculars. Have a GPA of around 3.6 from a reputed college in India.
Now I have chosen a rather difficult set of schools in terms of acceptance criterion:
Kellogs
Wharton
Michigan
1. What is your take ? Is this a good enough list, is there a "realistic" chance that I get through one of them ?
2. In case I am hoping for any fellowship/scholarship/tuition waivers which would be a better school to apply to ?
Kindly let me know of your thoughts on the mattter.
Sincerely,
Amit
AMit,
To answer your questions:
1) You have a competitive profile for these schools and with good essays, recs, and interviews, you have a realistic chance of gaining admission. Nonetheless, because these schools are so hard to get into, it would be advisable for you to apply also to additional schools.
2) I really can't comment on financial aid questions. If someone else knows the answer, please share.
Good luck!
