Hi guys,

Today, I have taken the GMATPrep Test 1, and I have scored 48 in math.
However, I failed 12 questions. :?

Is this possible to get 48 with this number of wrong answers? I expected that to get a 48, you have to have 6 or 8 wrong answers.

How accurate is the grade of the GMAT Prep?

Thanks!

Yes :)

2 Points: Position of the incorrect answers and Experimental questions (30% of 37 is about 12, and all those 12 don't count).

GMAT Prep is fairly accurate (or the most accurate of tools), so you should be good with that score even though you have a high number of wrong answers

Yes, that's why I shouldn't feel confident with this number of wrong answers.
I suppose the reason I get that score is that I have answered very well the first questions. My wrong answers were basically the lasts.

In your opinion, how many wrong answers should I have to feel confident?

I dont think there is any definite answer of this.
I have scored 49Q in GMATprep with 8 wrong answers.

It matters which questions are you making mistakes & also order of mistakes.
In case you answer 4-5 consecutive wrong, it will affect more than same number of answer wrong but not consecutive.

Are there experimental questions in GMATprep?
