I have a test in 3 weeks. I did all the MGMAT CAT's and GMAT Prep tests and my average score was about 640.

However, today i took Kaplan test and scored 550  . I'm still in a shock and not sure if i i should trust this score and start panicking.

Take it as practice. Based on what I have seen, Kaplan scores are relatively lower, by approximately 70-80 points.

many prep company's scores are not a true reflection of what you'd expect to get on D-day. as Jivana just mentioned, kaplan is one of them. you should use their tests as practice, not as a predictor of your score.

i had a similar experience with manhattan gmat. i scored 70 points lower on one of my MGMAT tests than i did on my GMAT Preptest. luckily, people on the forum assured me that the best indicator continues to be the GMAT Preptest. I didn't let that low score get to me, and neither should you.

Based on your GMATprep scores, I will say you are around the 630-650 range. There's definitely room for improvement, but then again it depends on your target score. I say, don't let the Kaplan score bother you, just keep practicing and improving.

Based on my own experience, both Manhattan & Kaplan seems to have good material. Take them for the learning experience, with minimal emphasis on the scores.
