For essays which ask for a leadership example - is it better to give an example from work or can I give an example from undergrad school which was 5-6 years ago?
Example from work would be in the lines of leading a team/project and the example from school would be leading a student committee.
thanks,
Ravi

I would err on the side of choosing the work experience, both because it is more recent and because it may be considered a little more relevant. If the school experience is a much stronger story, then you can use it, but I would try to use the professional story first.
