According to you, it's better to read the answers right after we finish the GMAT exercises, or we should wait some days then re-do the questions which we failed to answer correctly then read their answers?
I have come to find that the following works best for me:
(1) If you I am solving
individual questions (say question banks),
(1a)
if timed: I check the answers immediately after a small batch of questions, say 9, 12 (the batch is so that I can average the time over some realistic number of questions, so that this average could be more reliably extrapolated)
(1b)
if untimed: I would check the answers immediately after each question!
(2) If I am doing
practice tests:
(2a)
if not too close to the exam date - check and work through the answers after each section (Q/V);
(2b)
if close to the exam date, check the results after you are through Q & V (having done them with a break of no more than 10 minutes and sometimes with an additional 1h QB practice before that, so that you could simulate the AWA fatigue). You are now working for stamina too...
I would not wait days, even hours... I would want to know how my thinking went wrong and what should I rectify so that I verify if I have learned the concept/trick/moral of the story right
in the next practice test I do, in the next batch of questions, etc.
For me personally, such an iterative process is much more productive.
