Hello! I just gave me GMAT and got  a score of 580 (quant 81% & verbal 31%). And I just dont hv the time now to give this again nor do I want to miss any 2nd round deadlines.

Have 6.5 yrs work exp.

Any suggestion as to what are my chances & where can I apply ???

Pls be candid.

Honestly, with a 31% verbal, you'd have to retake if you want to get into any of the better schools. What did you get on the AWA? A 580 itself isn't the kiss of death, but the verbal could hurt. I think your chances would be better in Round 3 with a retake than in Round 2 with your current score. What was your undergrad GPA? Do you have anything else that could attest to your verbal abilities?

If you want to get ideas of where you could get in with your stats, do the advanced b-school search on http://www.review.com.

Good luck...

my score card is yet to arrive....so cant say anything on AWA.

well i am also an international applicant so need to take into consideration the financial aids...which the schools say they are avaliable only till round 2.

but thanks for your suggestion - i think i will need to give it again
