Malware Warning - IS FALSE [#permalink]

Hello - we just noticed that GMAT Club is getting pop up messages in some browsers stating that there is malware on the site. This warning is FALSEVisiting google webmaster tools and checking other sites such as http://www.stopbadware.org/ and we can't see any results that are actually of concern. We continue to research and investigate. At this time we have no reason to believe anything has been compromised or broken into. We apologize for these inconveniences and are working very hard to resolve this. If anyone has any ideas/suggestions, please let us kno. Thank you.

We found one banner that was by a partner and was "suspicious" - we have since removed it and it is no longer appearing/showing/displaying. Thank you for your patience as we try to deal with this misunderstanding. Thank you.

Hi bb, I am using Mozilla. I was shocked to see 'gmat club' as an attacked site.  But thank god there are other browsers to help us. Thanks

Yes, it is annoying and I am very sorry about it. We have submitted requests for review to Google and other sites to eliminate this ASAP. The sad part is that these browsers shoot first and then aim. First they blacklisted the site and only an hour after that, they said there was a suspicious banner

Yes, this is the issue. We are waiting on the Google's review of this (one little banner... eh) Anyway, the interesting thing is that Google flagged the issue at 9 AM PST and they sent an email to notify us at 10. No progress so far as of 11:41 AM.

It's seems like it's working again!
I saw the message 20 min ago....
Now i have no problem entering the site and the message doesn't pop up again! great news!

Hi bb, I'm still getting the GMAT Club site blocked on my android Galaxy tab 2.It's getting blocked as malicious site by 'Lookout Security' (here,I would like to let you know that this Security Software is installed in my device for last few months from Android Market-Google play and this is the very first time I've been facing this issue while trying to access GMAT Club site.) Request you to look into this and kindly take it up with our security team and let me know if you need any further info from my side. Hope,we'll resolve the issue at the earliest.

Thank you. I have heard from a few users that they still had warnings (which seem to disappear after they refresh the page or clear their cache - it seems that browsers have some caching feature for these security warnings where they will lag. I will look into this app ASAP. Thank you.

To add another data point:
still getting "Reported Attack Page" screen on firefox mozilla after cleanup of all previous cache.
This web page at gmatclub.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
Attack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

Thank you guys. It has been very frustrating. We have cleared the issue on Friday around 3-4 PM with all providers/systems/etc but I am not sure how to catch all these outstanding items. We have engaged a company to help clear these up but I think it has been a waste of money :-////

We have to make sure such things does not happen in future. Clearing up of the cache and system reboot should be enough to clear up the outstanding Items. Lets sue the company responsible

FYI - if anyone is using firefox and having an issue with the warning. Here is a solution on how to get rid of it. Looks like Firefox can be slow with clearing warnings http://oregonstate.edu/cws/announcement ... re-warning
