MBA from ISB? [#permalink] New post 14 Nov 2011, 09:22
Hello everyone!

I am seeking advice on my current situation. I am a consultant in the finance industry working for Ernst & Young in New York. I have over 4 years of work experience in big4 consulting. My work also involves a lot of business development/proposal pursuits. I recently took GMAT and scored a dismal 660 (Q50, V30; was getting 700s in mocks :( ). I was looking to apply to ISB, India but I am not sure that I stand a fair chance with this score. I have a Masters from Virginia Tech (GPA 3.7) and undergrad from Mumbai University (Approx. GPA 3.6).

Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks.

660 is very low for ISB. Unless you have good overall profile, I dont see any point in applying. ISB likes people with international experience. As you have Masters from Virginia & few years of international experience, you might have slight chances. Speak to few ISB students and take a final call. If I were you, I would take GMAT again. It is still in your control. Good luck!
