I will be attending Anderson for the class of 2015 with a goal of getting into banking. Given the intensity of the recruiting schedule in the first year, it seems like it would be wise to try to place out of a class and free up a bit more time. The first quarter at Anderson is composed of Accounting, Econ, Finance, Stats and Leadership. I'm coming from a consulting background, so I don't use accounting or finance on a regular basis and would need to dedicated at least a month or two to studying.
Has anyone else found success with particular courses or books to place out of 101-level classes?
