Hi Linda,

I had posted my profile earlier and you had suggested a few Universities. Thanks a lot for your suggestions..:). I will be applying to those Universities.

I have another query that I would like to run by you.
I have an IT Background and am contemplating going into IT Consultancy after my MBA (short term). My long term goal (if everything goes well) is to own my own IT Consultancy Company. What might be good areas of specialization for my MBA?

I would like to mention something that is coherent with my post MBA goals and thus would like to know your opinion.
Thanks once again!

That depends a little on what you want to get out of the program. Do you want a general business program to complement your IT background. do you want to strenthen that IT background? Do you want to focus on a particular business function because you feel it is particularly important or particularly interesting to you? Are you interested in entrepreneurship both because you want to run your own business and because IT has lots of entrepreneurial shops?
