I think you have a pretty solid profile that as long as you can convey your messages across via the application and essays, you should have a shot (and you're also going to be working with a consultant, you should be fine). I'm going to take a stab here that you'd like to remain on the east coast simply because your wife is attending Wharton. Unfortunately, no other top schools are right next to Wharton (unlike Columbia and NYU), but there's tons of them on the east coast. For consulting, check out Tuck and Michigan, both aren't that far from Pittsburgh. Tuck is a great program, but accepts very little number of students. Michigan takes it a lot more, and is considered a bit easier to get in (than Tuck).
