Hi all, I was searching around GMAT-related sites/materials on google and this site came up in my search. After browsing through this site a bit, I've personally find it to be very helpful and friendly; therefore, I registered to become a member. I just want to say hi to everyone and kind of get my feet wet in the water first.

I've just started to prep for GMAT. I started, I would say, about 5 months ago. I'm dedicating about 30 minutes to an hour a day on practice questions, solely based on OG11. I'm looking at getting all of MGMAT prep books as well soon. Any suggestions for a newbie like me? I'm in no hurry to take my exam, though I am aiming for sometime the end of next year to take the official one. What should I be doing right now? I'm scoring at around the 600 currently, and am definitely looking to improve as much as possible. Thanks all!

thanks for the encouragement. I just finished the first exam offered on TestPrep and am pretty glad that I scored a 630 (Q46, V31). There's definitely room for improvement. I shall continue browsing through this site on a daily basis and absorb as much as possible. Hopefully as I start to get more involved with this site, I can offer useful insights for those who are advancing towards the D-Day.
