I'm taking the GMAT next week and I had a few questions about notepads.
How many notepads do they give you? Can you ask for a fresh one after each section?
Ideally, I'd like a new one after the IR section, another notepad midway through quant, and another right before the verbal section. I understand that they only give you one notepad at a time? I have been practicing with the MGMAT notepad and I find that I fill it up before finishing the quant section.
Also, do they let you write on the pads when you are looking at the instructions? I'd like to take that period to write out a quick time vs question chart and, for the verbal section, write a few ABCDE's.
-> You can ask for as many notepads as you want.
-> You will be given two markers in the starting and I think you can ask for more if you run out of it too.
-> Everytime you will be given a new/fresh notepad
-> You just need to raise your hand(atleast in India) and the instructor will come inside the room (he/she will be monitoring you through cameras and through the transparent room glass) and will give you the sheet.
-> Once you have a notepad and once you are in the hall then i guess you can write on it! (the instruction screen is timed so i guess you wont get much time to write anyways)
