Notre Dame: Contributing back to the program [#permalink] New post 13 Feb 2005, 07:39
I would appreciate any help on the following essay topics:
Quote:
1. Each MBA candidate at the University of Notre Dame is expected to contribute back to the program. What do you plan to contribute to the MBA community at Notre Dame?

I am not entirely clear about the question ... mainly, is the question asking about my contribution to my MBA class .... or what I would contribute after I graduate?? Any thoughts on this ....?
Quote:
2. What do you do for fun?

How should one approach this question?

Thanks.

I'm not an expert so please take my advice with a grain of salt but I would say with the first question they are asking you what unique perspective are you bringing to Notre Dame's MBA class? I think they want to know what your intellectual contribution to the classroom will be.

The second question is asking you (I think) about you outside of work. My buddy who went to UCLA was telling me that business school was 40% studying and 60% socializing. ANd he couldn't emphasize enough to me the importance of both.

So again take my advice with a grain of salt but if I got those question that is how I would approach them.
