Hey everyone,
Since this forum has been helpful and I have given nothing I decided to post an excel file built to track performance on
the Official Guide 12. It is an Excel 2007 File. If you use it, it will track performance. I got a basic version from this forum (or another one, cannot remember) and modified it for my purposes which is why it looks like half of it is unused. Anyway, you can X in each category that applies and it will give you a summary of each section. I haven't gotten to far into the book yet to evaluate its usefulness but i figure it will be pretty useful.
Using it: You can basically use it during or after you do some problems. Put an X if you were Slow on a problem in the slow column, put an X in the unsure if you guessed, put an X if you got it correct in the correct column, put X in the incorrect column if you got it wrong. Put an X if it was a careless error, put an X if it was a concept Error.
Once you do that the summary sheet will automatically caculate each % for those. I haven't tested it but it is basic excel formula so as long as you type just x it should work. Keep in mind it will only count guesses that you got correct for the guessing section, and it will only count careless or concept errors of ones you got wrong so if are unsure of the concepts just mark it as unsure so it will count it as a guess. The other columns are up to you to use but they will not be sumarized.
Let me know if you need help or further explanations or what you think. I left some of my math results there to give you an idea how to use it.
Thanks,
dan
