Hi Friends,

I took the OG 12 Diagnostic test and strangely I found the SC and CR questions tougher than the actual OG practice questions. It was really frustrating because the questions had long passages and complicated sentences which were hard to follow.

In your experience is the GMAT OG diagnostic test tougher than the GMAT practise questions? Please clarify !

I haven't taken the "real" GMAT yet and so cannot make valid comparison. Though, its worth mentioning that OG diagnostic is slightly harder then you would expect from typical paper-based practice set. That's reasonable enough - test is untimed and you are allowed to change answers on previous questions. Probably to compensate for these issues and make it more adequate to real thing - authors deliberately hardened the diagnostic test

I agree with Shalva - even timing wise - you have less time per question than on the real GMAT and that's what GMAT is really about - managing time and answering what would usually be considered fairly straightforward questions under pressure.
