-25 years old
-GMAT: 730 Q49 V41
-GPA: 3.3 in Economics @ UCLA
-1 year as a Trading Assistant at a buy-side investment management firm
-will have 2 years as a separately managed accounts Trader at a different buy-side investment firm
-I basically have no extracurriculars excpet for 1 group @ UCLA and 1 day of volunteering.
Big Red Flag: I recieved a no pass (I took the class as a passs/no pass. No letter grade) in my last quarter @ UCLA. It was an upper division econ class. Because of this, I had to take summer school at another school to get my degree @ UCLA.
I'm targeting second round at UCLA, UC Berkeley, U of Chicago, and Stanford. If time permits I will also apply to Wharton and Harvard.
How much of a dealbreaker is my lack of extracurriculars?
How much of a dealbreaker is my fail? How should I address it?
What are my chances?
