Why Business school?

I wasn't planning on an MBA for another year or two but after talking to people in the industry and friends I think now is the right time. Moving up into strategy would be better with an MBA - both because of perception and because I feel I need the finance, operations etc. knowledge.

Please advise on my chances at
Schools: Would like to stay in North America.
In the US: Tuck, Fuqua, Booth and Cornell
In Canada: Ivey, Rotman, Schulich
