There are those who enjoy living in a small town and others who enjoy living in a big city. I personally prefer to live in a small town. Small town not only could be more personal but also could be easier to get around in. In addition people tend to be friendlier in small town rather than in a big city.

The first reason which I choose living in small town is that small town are more personal than big cities. People usually know about each other’s personal lives. They know about their jobs and their children’s names and ages. This is a kind of special relationship between all people who lives in a small town; they know who owns the local stores. They can be more helpful in emergency situation. On the other hand, in big cities it is impersonal just because of its size; people cannot meet each other as easily.

Another important reason is that a small town is easier to get around in than a big city. You can often ride a bicycle across town. If there are buses, the rides are not long because the town is small and the distances are short. Moreover, the most important aspects of living in a small town would be less traffic congestion and air pollution which is serious problem in big cities.

Additionally, small towns are friendlier than big cities. In fact people care about each other and talk with one another. People often go to same stores and cafes and usually know others who go there. As a result of that this relationships is that there is less crime events versus big cities. Furthermore, people tend to be more relaxed in small towns and have more time to meet people whereas in big cities, people are in more of hurry. Because of different living condition people in big cities attend to be stranger to each other.

In conclusion, I prefer to live in a small town rather than in a big city. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the friendship that develop more easily than in big cities. I hope the living condition remains as great as possible for our future’s children.
