Hi,

Age: 26
Country: Colombia
Gender: Female

GMAT: 700
TOEFL: 119/120

Education:
- Master in Industrial Engineering, Universidad de los Andes (Colombia's most Prestigious University) received a complete scholarship for being ranked one of Colombia's Top 10 graduating Industrial Engineers of 2008.
- Undergrad: Double majored in Economics and Industrial Engineering, Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá

Work experience:
- 3,5 years working for a social entrepreneurship which has won several international awards. I started out as a Research Analyst and I am currently General Manager for Colombia.

I am very interested in Impact Investment and CSR (I am certified in CSR Consulting). And after the MBA I plan to help give a general management perspective to CSR initiatives especially in third world countries. I work closely with a lot of foundations and non profits in Colombia and have seen they have really good intentions but not a business approach, so their efforts are not sustainable.

Others: I love cooking. I speak Spanish and English and have an intermediate French and Portuguese level.

I plan to apply to Harvard, Stanford and Wharton (as top choices) and would like to see what my chances are. And if you have any advice on what I can do to make my application stronger.

Thank You..

Hi VictoriaS7,

You have a very interesting and strong candidacy. There is nothing you have written that would disqualify your application from those business schools. Right now your focus should be on your personal essays and letters of recommendations, and how these can best reflect the personal brand you would like an admissions team to see.

If you would like to talk to someone, we have a free 30 minute consultation here:

Hope this was of help.

Cheers,
