Hi,
Thank you for your response in advance! Anyways, I have some evaluation questions which will come after my profile:
Asian, Male
Age: 32
Undergraduate: Berkeley, Computer Science, 3.05 GPA, B.A.
GMAT: 700 (43Q, 42V)
Experience:
I have been a software engineer for approximately 6 years and a project lead for 2 years. Currently, I am managing 3-4 other software engineers in a major development project.
Extra-Curricular:
None. Well, I make computer games in may spare time. Does that count?
Goals:
Frankly, the only reason I'm doing this is because I feel that I might not have a job 5-10 years from now if I continue to be just an engineer. I love software though. So, if I could stay in the software industry, perhaps using an MBA to land some sort of management position in software development or information technology, that would be great.
Evaluation Question:
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. If I wanted to stay in this area, I was wondering if you could recommend some part-time / full-time schools I have a realistic shot at. I know Berkeley and Stanford are absolutely out of the question. Maybe UC Davis? Santa Clara?
San Jose State? (Basically, are there any other good schools in this area I can try outside of Berkeley and Stanford?)
If I am willing to relocate to anywhere in the United States, then what are the five best schools I could try, given my profile?
Again, thanks for your help in advance!
