hi

can u help me with my profile review

M, 32
GMAT - 630
Work ex - 10 years (8 yrs into leadership)

I may nt be able to retake since my wrk schdules are very hectic

i wanna apply to emory - full time mba

do think i stand chance

Can you also share me the schools i shud look for in US and Canada with the kind of GMAT score and profile i have

Am looking for only full time MBA

Not enough detail to really say, but you should know that the longer you are out of undergrad, the more heavily your work achievements will be scrutinized. 630 GMAT is not bad, but will be below average at Emory, a top 25 program. I know you said you want full time MBA, but you would hav an easier time getting into an EMBA program with 10 years WE. Plus they are not nearly as strict on the GMAT as FT flagship programs.

thanks how about my chances at other schools of Canada and Australia

1) Brief description of your full-time work experience ---- Leading team of Managers for the last eight years out of total work ex of 11 years
Industry - Financial services, Functin - Business Development , No international exposure, progression from Sales Trainee to State Head, Many achievements in professional career

2) Your GMAT. - 630

3) College info: Graduation - Bachelors in Business Admin (2000) , Decent GPA , Local Indian University

4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience ---- Involvement with local photography shoot club, conducted workshops

5) Important certifications like CFA, CPA, FSA, or CA. ---- None

6) Your target programs --- Full time programs only in US, CANADA and Australia

7) Your post-MBA goal --- Ideally, remain in the financial services only, but at the same time am flexible to take move in other industry offering me role in business development

Wouldn't hurt to try. I am not as familiar with the competitiveness and yields of those schools.
