I need help on reasoning on this one. Sally has 1/3 chance to pass her physics exam, 1/2 her math exam and 1/4 her English exam. What is the probability of her passing exactly one exam.

Can I say it's P(pass physics)*P(NOT pass math)*P(NOT pass english) + P(NOT pass physics)*P(pass math)*P(NOT pass english) + P(NOT pass physics)*P(NOT pass math)*P(pass english)?

Exactly!

Thanks man. So that would be: 1/3*1/2*3/4+2/3*1/2*3/4+2/3*1/2*1/4?

Yes. That would be the answer.
