I'm just looking for a bit of info from the experts... I'll be submitting my application this week to the NYU Langone program for fall 2010. I'm shooting for the weeknight program, which I've heard is a bit easier to get into...
27/M
Undergrad: 3.49 GPA in Finance, very well-known university. Member of two separate honor societies.
GMAT: 670 (Q39, V42... concerned with the low quant score)
Work: Roughly 4 years full-time experience by program start. Sr. financial analyst for very large, high profile company (Fortune 50). Multiple roles within company across different finance disciplines. Promoted twice within 4 years.
Rec's: (1) Group Finance Director, (2) Required current supervisor (finance controller); have 3rd ready but not sure if that's overkill
Certifications: Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Other: Ex-military. Served 6 years with USAF and was honorably discharged.
I think my first two essays are pretty good, and I'm making the final touches on my "creative" personal essay. I'm also debating on writing something for the fourth essay addressing the low quant score.
Comments... suggestions..?
