gmat_buf,
The lack of community could be fatal at Kellogg, which prizes that sort of thing. Chicago does too, but less so. The key question for these schools would be, "Why should we admit this more-or-less competitive guy with a negative in his profile rather than someone equally qualified professionally and in their numbers who has a more unusual profile?" You need to have those compensating strengths to offset the negative. Perhaps you do have them somewhere in your app, perhaps your managerial experience. I certainly would not tell you to forget applying to either program, but I think they are probably both on the longshot side, especially Kellogg.
Hope this helps,

Thanks Paul for the honest feedback. Is not the response that I was hoping for but atleast puts things in perspective for me.
Just to confirm, you think my profile at these schools is a longshot even for their part-time course??? I was suspecting as much for full-time but didn't realize that even the part time courses weigh so heavily on the community service aspect.

gmat_buf,
Well, "longshot" may be too harsh. I was just trying to communicate that even for their part-time program your application has some weaknesses that could be an issue. I definitely would not discourage you from applying to both programs, but do so with a clear view.
Good luck,
