Hey there,
and thanks for writing us here!
Before I answer you, I have a few questions:
1. Do you have actual reports? If so, how many? and what is the scope of your leadership?
2. I get the feeling that you have done a lot of training, but am not sure I understand if it is technical or not, and of how many people you yourself trained, and finally whether this is online or if you are actually flying across the world to do so?
3. What are your post-MBA goals??

If you answer these questions, I may be better able to evaluate you.

Also, why would it be a bad idea to apply to HBS R2?? It's a great idea! with a 3.0 GPA it's a challenge to be sure, but with hard work some faith and some luck, who knows??? the sky is the limit! :)

Great! thanks for the additional extra detail. All of what you write is excellent, and only strengthens your candidacy. You have REAL leadership, and REAL international experience, and not just that but international LEADERSHIP too!!! So really great stuff there, and make sure the school knows this!! Because this is what they are looking for - global leaders, with PROVEN experience. That, plus a nice GMAT and the advantage of being female should give you some good chances to get in at top schools.

Hi Jon,

Thank you. Can I strengthen my application in any way to nullify the negative effect of my low GPA?

Hmm.. at this point, I think the good GMAT is the main thing, and then you need to think about whether you want to add this as a main subject int he optional essay, and what reasons you might give for your low GPA
