Hello,

I need help in selecting some good MBA colleges in Europe. I've done Mechanical Engineering and my GPA is 2.7.

I've given GMAT 2 times and my highest score is 540 (V17, Q49, AWA 5) and as of today, I have 6 years of work experience in one of the leading power generation company in Asia. Though, I'm preparing for GMAT for the last time and will take it in July. i'm worried if I couldn't make my score better, in that case which colleges I should select.

I do have good extra-curricular activities record since college. I've also written many articles for newspapers and magazines.

I know nothing is in my favor i.e. not good GPA, neither GMAT score but I still want to go for MBA next year.

Please help me sort out few colleges which I should select before taking the exam.

I will be highly thankful to you guys.

Best wishes.

There are many good schools in Europe to choose from - however, your GMAT/GPA is going to limit the number of schools where you will be considered competitive is limited. I would start off by looking at the following programs:

Manchester
Rotterdam
St. Gallan
Cranfield
Warwich
Dublin- Smurfit

Please realize that even to these schools, given your GMAT/GPA, your applications are going to have to be compelling and really help compensate for these deficient parts of your candidacy.

Good luck.

Kimberly Plaga, thank you for being so nice. BTW, schools you have mentioned are like my dream schools!

I was reading somewhere that if you have about 5-6 years of work-ex then colleges sometimes don't look much deeper into your GPA. Is it right? By the way, I never thought of getting into top 10 or top 20 b-schools, my dream was always getting into at-least one of top 50 colleges. Yes, I know applications also matter and if I take professional help with those can I get into one of the top 50 colleges with above credentials?

Can you please also name few college in North America (US and Canada) also as I'm consider Canada most probably.

Appreciate your help. As I'm going for GMAT in July for the last time. I will contact you after the exam.

Thank you once again for being so nice.
Best regards
