Hi,

first of all, thank you for your time.

I'd love to have a feedback about my profile for a top European full-time MBA (Insead, LBS, IESE, Hec, Cambridge, Oxford)

Nationality: Italian

Education:
Bachelor in Electronic Engineering
Master's Degree in Management Engineering
(both in "Politecnico di Milano")

GMAT: 710 (Verbal:41 / 92% - Quant: 47 / 76%)
TOEFL Ibt: 108
GPA 3.8 (sort of, converting from Italian grades).

Work Experience:
- 1.5 year as university researcher (Change Management following ICT implementations in Healthcare Environment);
- 3 years as Enterprise Application Consultant (Workflow Analysis, ERP implementations, Training) in various businesses (food, metal, fashion).

Misc:
Some competitions and prizes won in high school, corporate workshops and experiences during college.

I'm interested in management consulting, international experience and eventually going to work for a major technological company.

Well, the core attributes appear to be in place: good GMAT and academics, requisite WE including some valuable cross-industry consulting, which will be of interest to the adcoms. I like that your post MBA vision ties in your education with your experience, including Tech MGT degree and consulting. Good combo, and one that will resonate with top b-schools. They like being able to see the reality of your vision, in other words, being able to connect the dots, so to speak. Would be nice if TOEFL had been 109 but no big deal--close enough. Clearly you English is good. Make sure you can demonstrate involvement outside the classroom in your past and I would avoid going back to high school for achievements, which could communicate that you don't feel you have enough achievement to chat about which doesnt seem to be the case. LEt us know if we can help you pull it all together. The key will be casting a compelling vision and weaving a story which is memorable.

I'm starting the writing this week, while convincing a couple of my managers regarding the recommendation letters.
