Hi ankcraz:
Nice profile – I like the combination of black hat hacker skills, entrepreneurship and tennis playing skills that any blueblood country club would love to have.
However, first things first – Northwestern's b-school is called Kellogg. "Kellogs" is more appropriate for a delicious breakfast treat in the form of flakes or loops.
Anyway, I digress. The main point here is that you are competitive at the schools that you list. I believe that with the right message, personal and professional, you will not have a problem getting a thorough review by any of these admissions committees. You definitely satisfy what I believe to be a critical component for any "Indian" applicant – that is, significant international work experience outside of your home country. Of course you went to school here, but your involvement in your local communities (yes, you can consider your local hacker contingent as a "community") tells me that you would fit in well at business school.
I do have a suggestion in order for me to make a definitive assessment of your applicability to each school in question – what on earth are your goals? Do you want to grow your entrepreneurial venture?
Respectfully,
Paul Lanzillotti
