Hi,

I would appreciate evaluating the below profile for ISB, NUS and HEC, considering there is no time for me to re-take gmat:

GMAT - 680 (49, 33)

Indian/F/23
Acads -
CBSE 10th = 84%
CBSE 12th = 79%
B.tech (in Computer Sci.) = 8.01/10

Work Experience - By Mar’13, I will have 2yrs of experience.
5months : Trainee + Intern, Infosys Ltd., Mysore, India
3months : Web Programmer, Bulbous Cell Media, Tokyo, Japan
12months : Program Analyst, STS Forum (NGO), Tokyo, Japan -> NON-IT; This ngo host high-level conferences for luminaries from corporate, political and scientific communities. I along with my event team collaborate closely with them. I have also trained 2 people in our team.

Extra-curricular -
Dancing, Track-sports (State level), Swimming etc.

I think that your work experience is good. It is cool that you do NGO events and it is great that you have helped train a few people. The extra-curricular activities are an added bonus. Your overall GMAT score is solid but the verbal is lacking a little. The only other potential liability with you application is the length or work experience. Most people have closer to 4 or 5 years when they apply to graduate school.

It sounds like you are looking to apply this year and that is why you don't have time to retake the GMAT. You might as well roll the dice with these schools and see what happens.

If you don't get into the schools that you want then take a year to gain more experience and improve your verbal score. Either way, I think that you have a very competitive profile for these schools, whether you get in this year or the next.
