Medical Doctor working as a GP (general practitioner) in the UK
British citizen - recently became British citizen, although born and lived in India until the age of 24

EDUCATION
MBBS from a good university in India - was among the top 5% students in class throughout the course
MRCGP - Membership of Royal College of general practitioners, UK

WORK EXPERIENCE
one year in India as Medical intern and 7 years in the UK in national health service
completed post graduate training in general practice in UK and obtained Membership of the Royal college of general Practitioners (MRCGP)
worked as a GP partner for one and half year (most senior General Practice post in UK)

GMAT 750 (98th percentile) Q49 (85th percentile) V44 (97th percentile)

EXTRACURRICULARS - was art secretary in medical school and member of editorial board of college magazine in medical school. Enjoy cartooning as a hobby.

VOLUNTARY WORK - have worked in polio immunization programs in India

POST MBA PLAN - want to expand my horizons and combine my long term passion for business with my training and experience in healthcare. I want to work in management consulting in the short term and launch my own healthcare startup company in the long term

TARGET SCHOOLS - LBS, INSEAD, KELLOGG... open to suggestions about other schools that might fit my profile.

please help!!

Hi,

Besides the schools you have mentioned I would also urge you to look at Wharton and Duke. Wharton has a reputed and prestigious Healthcare Management Program and Duke has their Healthcare Sector Management program, both of which are excellent.

If it is consulting you are looking for, instead of necessarily a specialization in healthcare for your MBA, I would recommend Chicago Booth, Columbia, Michigan, and Stanford in addition.
