You still do need to make a stellar application, but now the schools you prefer are within reach. So you may apply to the three schools you have listed, although I would suggest adding two to three more schools that interest you.

Thanks Jon. Do you mind defining "reach" -- a good chance or just a chance or meager chance? :( The issue is that I am from most represented demographics - Indian/Engineer. Not sure whether my current managerial role at Wall street firm will help.

Well Wharton is I would say a farther reach, columbia less so and NYU a bit (meaning you are pretty competitive).
Top Bank + great grades + obama = interesting.

It won't get you automatically into Wharton, but with a great application you have a shot. That's why I would add two more schools on the "lower" side of things (but which still fit your goals) Perhaps Johnson, Darden, KenanFlagler? (for consideration.. there are others of course.. but east coast is good for banking)
