my profile is as follows;

Working as HVAC Design Engineer (engineering consultant) in Kuwait, have led a project worth 1.2 million KWD.
Wrk ex - 3.5 yrs
My post mba goal is to join management consulting but I am open to all the options, I am even sure that if I stay in the same field an MBA would be beneficial.

CGPA - 6.69/10 in Mech. Eng. from BITS Dubai
School - X - 82% XII - 82%
EC's - Have been an integral part of sports and cultural organizing committees throughout, in my office have been a part of the cricket team and played in 2 intra-company football tournaments.
I dont want to do it from MENA region, as job placements are a main concern for me. So my focus on the placements. It would be very helpful if you could advice me.

Hello,

Thanks for sharing your profile. I can't say that I've ever met an HVAC Design Engineer! Very unique job :)

Your professional experience is more on the technical side, so that is a little bit of a challenge. Further, your GMAT and GPA are fairly low. Finally, I don't see much extracurricular or community leadership activity after college. With all this in mind, I would suggest that you target mid/lower Tier 2 programs. It's difficult to say which ones specifically, since many are focused around general management... it will depend what you are looking for in a program. You may start by looking at the US News & World Report and Business Week rankings and look at the ones that have a median GMAT in your range. Then start narrowing down from there.

Hope that helps,
Mili
