Profile evaluation please - Thanks in advance!! [#permalink]

Thanks in advance for taking a look! All feedback welcome! Is top ten realistic for me or should I set my sets elsewhere?

Education & Test Scores: Top 50 Undergrad - Two B.S. Degree's in Finance (business school) and Honors Philosophy (arts & sciences) Graduated Cum Laude Overall GPA - 3.52 Hold Series 7 and 66 Finra Licenses Candidate for CFA Level II (this upcoming June) GMAT - 690 (First time taken, I think I have a little more in me!)
Work Experience: Most recent first
Current - Business Sales Strategist While working as a Sales Director I developed an iPad application to assist our external sales representative and subsequently was moved into higher level sales strategy role.
2 yrs - Regional Sales Director: Worked in partnership with the Regional Vice President to manage the Souther California, Nevada and Hawaii territory at a top mutual fund company. Beat our goal in both years.
3 yrs - Financial Analyst: Various responsibilities (SOX 404, Asset and Investment pricing and valuation). Managed several subsidiary audits internal, worked with external auditors and prepared and presented quarterly and annual financial reports. Worked closely with senior management to improve internal controls on these entities. Extensive work valuing and modeling Structured Investment Vehicle (SIV) securities and managing our firms exposure to them.
Extracurriculars (College): Heavily involved in Undergraduate Government. Was the Director of Campus Events both Junior and Senior year. Managed a 300k budget and a staff of 22 people. Teaching Assistant for two years for an honors philosophy class.
Extracurriculars (Post-College): Various Educational Related Fund Raising Avid Skier, Guitar Player and amateur race car driver. Crew Chief for my garages professional race team.

It's simple - boost that GMAT score. With your current score and profile, you'll be a big stretch. With a 700 (and ideally a 720+), you will at least have enough of a shot that the top schools are worth focusing on. Good luck

Thanks for the review Alex. Is it just a massive stretch in general because of my profile, or is it just the GMAT? Goes without saying that I will be putting some effort in to bring the scores up, but if its still an epic longshot maybe just shoot a little lower out the gate?
