Hi,

Could you please evaluate my profile for following universities [2012 evening/weekend MBA programs]?

+ Stern
+ Kellogg
+ Tepper
+ UCLA
+ Booth

GMAT (04/2012, 4th attempt) - 650 [V31/Q47]
GMAT (03/2012, 3rd attempt) - 560 [V23/Q47]
GMAT (10/2011, 2nd attempt) - 620 [V26/Q49]
GMAT (09/2009, 1st attempt) - 590 [V23/Q49]

+ Indian Male, 32 Yrs
+ Master of Science in Computer Science (Graduated 12/2004, USA, GPA 3.5)
+ Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science (Graduated 07/2001, India, 4 Yr Aggr %age=70% ~ GPA=3.5)
+ Full Time Work Experience - 7.5 Years [Software - Consulting, Contracting, Product Development]
+ Other Activities: Math Tutor (Time/week = 2 Hours) Web Developer (Time/Week = 6 Hours)

I am looking for Part Time/Evening/Weekend MBA opportunities and wish to specialize in General Management/Entrepreneurship/IT Management.

Please suggest universities other than the ones mentioned above that might fit my profile.

Hello kituz, thanks for your question.

I have to admit that I am not intimately familiar with part-time admissions programs, but I should say that your GMAT scores are low for any of those programs. But, a rule of thumb is that if your GMAT score falls within the middle 80% range at a school, you have a shot. Otherwise, it could be an uphill battle. All this being said, I believe GMAT requirements for part-time programs are less stringent than full-time.

In targeting suitable schools, a good place to start would be to compile a list of programs that have a mean or median GMAT score close to yours. More importantly, I would advise targeting programs that have:
• Resources that best meets your career needs
• A culture that resonates with your personal style
• Students whom you respect, can relate to, and have fun with!
