I would only retake the GMAT at this point if you truly believe that you had a "bad day" and can confidently score 20-40 points higher. For lower ranked schools like Tepper, ISB and NUS, this higher score can make a big difference (even close to guaranteed acceptance assuming your applications and interviews don't royally suck). But for schools like Ross and Stern, it won't make as much of a difference (you'll be a stretch regardless of whether you have a 700 or 760; but either way, you have enough of a chance that they're worth at least applying to).

Alex,
Thanks for your reply.Could you help suggest some schools in which my profile wouldn't be a stretch i.e. schools that can be realistic keeping my profile and score in mind. I understand that a lot of factors are required to take a call, but I would appreciate a ballpark.

Schools in the top 16 like Stern and Ross are stretches.
Sweet spots are in the top 30 like Tepper, Georgetown, Purdue, Texas, etc.
Safeties would be NUS or ISB.
