Why MBA and why now
My carrer has been very progressive and I have got promoted every other year. I am at a juncture where I am excelling in my current job, which is technology consulting. My present job has given me right foundation in terms of leadership and managerial skills, business, technical and domain knowledge to move to next.

My schools of choice are (in order of preference)
Yes you have a shot, but I would recommend that you cut back to about four schools, so that ayou can really understand them and craft you applications specifically for them rather than simply copying and pasting your essays. _________________
It can help... If you're passionate about it, explaing WHY... This can help you stand out from a very crowded applicant pool. But you'll need to really focus on anything else that can help make you look unique vs. other applicants. Your NGO experience may help here.
