sqrt( 3969 )/ sqrt( 0.003969 ) = sqrt( 3969/0.003969 )

3969 = 0.3969 * 10^4
= 0.03969 * 10^4
= 0.003969 * 10^6

3969/0.0003969 = 10^6
sqrt(10^6) = 10^3 = 1000

I would eliminate D in a split second, numerator and denominator are not equal.

Hi GoalStandfrd

You are mistaken. The solution is not 1 but it is 1000. I presume you mistook the , to be a .

I was only referring to srijay's answer . I was just saying D was not the right one and could easily be eliminated in a split-second, as answer "1" means both numerator and denominator should be equal but they are not.

Hi goal

Indeed D is the right one.

the picture shows 1000 as 1.000 The comma (,) after the 1 is mistaken to be a decimal (.) point. D is the correct one. You cannot dimiss that in a split second.
