in the document, in page 2 there is a sentence that i could not understand:
BEWARE • In questions that ask for calculating total costs with fixed costs for first print / tkt / etc and variable for others, in final answer do not forget to include the first pic / tkt etc
What does that mean?
This document is outstanding..!! Thank you so much.

This document is outstanding..!! Thank you so much. Hi. Basically there are some questions that go something like this: what would be total price for 50 tickets to a movie where first 5 tickets re for $5 and thereafter each tkt is for $0.75? in the above do not forget to add $5 in final total of 0.75 x 45. this was a elementary example. you will find similar situations but of course not as easy GS

Re: Quant Notes for PS & DS [#permalink]

Great compilation! One note. I think the line > GCD(a,b) * LCM(a,b) = a*b e.g. GCD(12,15)*(12,15) = 12*15 = 180 should read GCD(a,b) * LCM(a,b) = a*b e.g. GCD(12,15)* LCM(12,15) = 3*60 = 180 Or am I missing something. BTW had the same question as anujairaj770 about > BEWARE > • In questions that ask for calculating total costs with fixed costs for first print / tkt / etc and variable > for others, in final answer do not forget to include the first pic / tkt etc Would be nice if you could write out these words in your doc or just add the explanation given above. Thanks JS
