Definitely don't take the GMAT again. A 700 is strong enough to get you in anywhere, and taking it again means just risking the chance that you'll do worse, in which case you'll be sorry that you took it.
Re: what you're doing now that you don't have a job, it's okay if you don't have a job IF you really make a mark in a volunteering role. By not working, you risk looking like you're applying because you have to, not because you want to. So, either try to find new work, or make sure that you're volunteering in something that you REALLY have passion for and in which yo ucan make an impact.
Re: other schools, I think your list is good, but maybe also consider Wharton, Sloan, or Chicago if you're really interested in finance.
