24 female Asian (international)
2) Educational Background:
accountancy at big public school
3.00 (lower in major and in senior year)
710 AWA 5.0
3) Work experience:
General Accountant at an ad agency for 1 yr and 10 months (no promotion but lots of responsibilities)
4) Extracurriculars:
Social Coordinator in student organization (Whole undergrad yrs)
volunteering service in pakistan (just a few weeks)
intership at Credit Suisse in Asia and at KPMG in Asia (just a few weeks)
5) Short/Long term goals:
ST marketing science analyst
LT CMO
6) Schools:
#1 choice: UCLA (didn't finish my application yet)
#2 choice: USC (submitted on 3/13)
#3 choice: UC Irvine (interview scheduled in next week)
#4 choice: Pepperdine (didn't finish my application yet)
Can you please evaluate my profile and chances for Fall 11?

For Anderson, it will be a pretty significant stretch. Good luck with USC!
I simply don't know enough for Pepperdine and UCI to make any comment, but I suppose you'll make a pretty good applicant.
Reason for Anderson as a stretch is you're simply too 'middle-of-the-road' right now. You're in a typical position, with a typical degree (not saying that it was easy, but I assure you that plenty of accountants/accounting majors have applied in earlier rounds and the accounting quota is pretty limited now). Not only that, there are a couple of glaring disadvantages: your age and work experience will play a big role here. Typically, you're looking at 4-5 years of work experience for top b-schools and with only close to 2 years of experience, AdComs will question your reasoning as to why now. In addition, Anderson has a notoriously high average GPA for its admitted students, averaging a 3.5 undergrad for the students from Anderson. At 3.0, you're pretty much at the lowest 10 percentile for its class (by the way, congrats on the fantastic GMAT score!!). These are my reasons for Anderson. I'm not going to talk much about USC since you've already applied - just keep your hopes up!! And as I mentioned, I can't speak for Merage or Graziadio since I know nothing about these programs.
