Hi,
can anyone help on how to improve on RCs?
problem i am facing is to retain the information that read in rc, for 3 out of 8 question i do know what i read in passage but for rest of questions information is like lost and it is quite time taking to look again for information in passage...
please suggest how you folks adjust to this.

People have employed various strategies to improve RC. Some read fiction novels during their prep, and others attempt to read dense material like The Economist. You need to get in the habit of reading actively. Pick up WSJ or other newspapers and attempt to read with the GMAT in mind. After you read a few paragraphs, stop and ask yourself what you just read. If you don't get the main point of a paragraph after you've read it, you're probably reading passively and really really need to focus and concentrate. It sounds easy to do in theory, but in practice, it can get difficult. Just REMEMBER to FORCE yourself to ACTIVELY ENGAGE YOURSELF in what you are reading.
