HI guys got this from the question bank. Saw something similar in the OG guide but this one has a twist.
When r is divided by s, the remainder is r/s =96.12 If, which of the following COULD BE the value of s? (r and s are integers)
(A) 90 (B) 75 (C) 48 (D) 25 (E) 12
I remember the OG asking which could be the remainder. This one is asking which one is the divisor
I tried solving it .12s ( where s is the answer choice to see which one yields an integer) unfortunately both 75 and 25 both yielded an integer

Your question doesn't seem right.. it says remainder is 96.12 which is impossible. remainder have decimal?
Check this out!
When positive integer r is divided by positive integer s, the remainder is 9. If r/s = 96.12, what is the value of y?
A. 96
B. 75
C. 48
D. 25
E. 12
r/s = 96.12
r = 96s + 0.12*s
0.12*s = 9
s = 75
Hence, B
HI my mistake I just copied it directly from the question bank and pasted it here in the forum So you think the question would include the value of the remainder?
