hi scott/omari :-D

The second Ross essay wants us to describe the initiatives we have taken to progress in our career. is it a better idea to talk about general points stating the initiatives or is it better to tell them a story which would reflect the initiatives ?

thank you for your time :) you guys are doing a great job, hope you can help me out here

While the essay can be approach in either way, you should choose the approach that allows you to discuss specific contributions you've made. In other words if telling a story helps you to really highlight your contributions on one iniative then do that (just make sure that you answer the question and mention other initiatives also).
