Schedule and Flexibility [#permalink] New post 05 Aug 2008, 12:48
My wife was asking me about the general schedule of classes and flexibility that I will have once I'm in b-school. I've read those "day in the life of..." entries, but I'm wondering if I could get any personal anecdotes on the matter here. I know that I'll be busy, but I'm wondering just how much control I'll have over my schedule (ahhhh, the pleasant memories of undergrad.)

For instance, how many days and for how long will I be in class? How structured is the timing of classes? Is it relatively easy and/or common to go back and forth b/w your apartment and campus during the day for lunch or other things?

I know that this will obviously be school specific, so I'll throw this question out there for anyone who would like to specifically comment on Chicago, Columbia, Wharton, and UCLA, or if you just want to share your experience even if not applicable to these schools.
